Spring Recital
May 17-18, 2024
Our Spring Recitals will take place at the Hagee Communication Center at SAGU May 17-18, 2024.
May 17 will be our stage rehearsal where students can come get familiar with the stage and where to stand. These times will be sent out to parents/dancers closer to rehearsal.
May 18 will be our recital day. We have 6 shows this year: 9a, 11a, 1p, 3p, 5p, and 7p. Please make sure to check the cast list below to find what show your dancer(s) will be in.*
Recital Tickets + Cast List
Recital ticket sales will be available for purchase online only. Tickets will go live on April 24, 2024 at 11am CST. We have 6 shows this year to accommodate all of our amazing dancers, so please make sure you buy tickets for your dancer’s specific show time(s). It is assigned seated, so we cannot transfer tickets at the event.
Not sure what show your dancer is in? Check our cast list* or search your dancers name on the ticket sales site when sales open.
*Please note that these cast lists are not show order. This is just a guide to know what show time your dancer will be in.
While we do work hard to try to get dancer’s in one show, it is not always possible. If your dancer is in multiple classes, please make sure to check each class time to know what show that class performs in.
Flowers for Pre-Order Through May 16
Celebrate your dancer’s hard work with flowers at recital! We are so excited to be able to offer this opportunity to order your flowers ahead of time hassle-free!
Orders must be purchased by May 16, 2024. We highly recommend ordering ahead as extras will be limited for day-of-event purchases.
All online orders will be available for pickup on-site the day of the recital. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently at the entrance to the recital before the performance begins.
Recital Pictures
Recital Picture Week is during your dancers regular class time.
Pictures will take place April 22-25.
Uddlerly Faithful - Farm & Photography will be doing our recital pictures this year.
All photos will delivered digitally (no prints). Be sure to select every class you would like to purchase pictures for if your dancer is in multiple classes (i.e. add “Musical Theatre” and “Lyrical” to your cart if they are in both classes and you would like photos of both).
Recital Program Ads
Celebrate the hard work of your dancer with a digital, full color ad in the 2024 Celebrate Recital Program!
Sell the most full page ads, and receive a free year of dance tuition (up to $700 value).
Ads must be purchased and submitted via email by 3pm on April 22, 2024.
There will no exceptions to this deadline.
Specs for Ads: Please design your ads at the exact sizes listed below:
Quarter Page - $35: 2.375” width x 3.875” height
Half Page - $50: 5” width x 3.875” height
Full Page Ad - $125: 5” width x 8” height
Once your ad is complete, please email a high-res JPG, PNG, or PDF to Brittany@SandisSchoolofDance.com.
*Please do not send individual pictures or incomplete ads; ads must be created in their entirety at the specified sizes prior to sending to SSOD. Canva.com is an excellent (and free) resource for creating this special memory for your dancer. If using Canva, click on “Custom Size” under "Create a Design” to create your ad.
Recital T-Shirt Orders: Friends & Family
Pre-orders are now closed. You will be notified when the t-shirts are in and available for pick up.
All dancers performing in the recital will receive a recital t-shirt.
