Recital shows will take place at the Hagee Communication Center at Nelson University (formerly SAGU) located at 499 E University Ave #401, Waxahachie, TX 75165.

Recital Tickets

Recital ticket sales will be available for purchase online only starting Friday, April 17 at 10 am. We have 6 shows this year to accommodate all of our amazing dancers, so please make sure you buy tickets for your dancer’s specific show time(s). It is assigned seating, so we cannot transfer tickets at the event.

Not sure what show your dancer is in? Check our “Show Order” in the link below or search your dancer’s name on the ticket sales site when sales open.

While we do work hard to try to get dancers in one show, it is not always possible. If your dancer is in multiple classes, please make sure to check each class time to know what show each class performs in.

Stage Rehearsal Schedule: May 15, 2026

We will be doing a stage rehearsal for the ages listed below on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Hagee Communications Center at Nelson University (formerly SAGU). The address is 499 E. University Ave #401, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

OPTIONAL WALKTHROUGH:
All Preschool Classes (regardless of Performance time): 4:15p
For the walkthrough, dancers will walk up on stage with parents for an opportunity to get comfortable on stage under the lights before the big day. No need to come in costume, and we will not be running their dances. Many like to wear their recital shirts.

All Mother-Daughter Hip Hop: 4:45p

All Daddy-Daughter Dance: 5:30p

For rehearsals, dancers can wear any comfortable dance or athletic attire. Please make sure they have their proper shoes for their dance(s).

There will not be rehearsals for any classes outside of those listed above.

Day-of-Show call time for dancers is 30 minutes before their showtime.

All photo packages will be delivered digitally from the photographer; only digital files will be available.

THINGS TO NOTE:
•Orders are open through May 22, 2026. No previews will be emailed; all previews were available during the shoot only.
•Photos will be emailed directly from the photographers starting the week of June 8. Please direct all questions to Matt & Hannah Esparza via the Contact Form on the website using the link below.

Flowers for Pre-Order through May 15

Celebrate your dancer’s hard work with flowers at the recital! We are so excited to offer this opportunity to order your flowers ahead of time, hassle-free!

Pre-orders must be placed by Friday, May 15, 2026. We highly recommend ordering ahead, as extras will be limited for day-of-event purchases.

All online orders will be available for pickup on-site on the day of the recital. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently in the lobby before the performance begins.

Recital T-Shirts

Pre-orders have closed. You will receive a text when your shirt orders arrive at the studio. All shirts have been delivered. Please pick up your order at our front desk.

*All SSOD dancers performing in the recital will receive a recital t-shirt as part of the recital fee. These shirts will be distributed in their weekly class upon arrival.

Pre-School - 3rd: High buns (at crown)
Junior - Teen Classes: Low buns (at nape of neck)
Cheer: High Ponytail
Jr. DCC 5-6, Jr. DCC 7-9 (3PM CAST): High Ponytail
Jr DCC 7-9 (5PM CAST), Jr. DCC 10-13 (5PM CAST): Low Ponytail

Pro tip: Bring lots of bobby pins!
Bobby pins are essential for securing accessories (like hats, bandanas, etc.) to the dancer’s hair so they don’t fall off while they are performing.
