It all started when…

Sandi (Boruk) Phillips is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader that started dancing at the age of 3 at Natalie’s School of Dance under the direction of Natalie Skelton, who founded the Dallas Civic Ballet and Dallas Dance Council. Sandi then transferred to the legendary Texie Waterman School of Dance where she danced alongside entertainers such as LeeAnn Rimes. Texie Waterman was the first Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader choreographer.

Sandi started drill team at 8 years old and continued into high school with a competition team under the direction of Lisa Dalton, former Kilgore Rangerette sergeant and swingster.

Sandi is trained in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. She took technique classes at Broadway Dance Center. At the age of 18 she auditioned with over 1200 girls and made the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She has made appearances on CNN, Fox Sports, ESPN, Good Day Dallas, Good Morning Dallas, Good Morning Texas, national commercial and several international television appearances. Sandi was selected for an elite “show group” where she performed for troops on multiple USO tours in places such as Japan, Macedonia, Kosovo, South Korea, London and Paris. Sandi has preformed with entertainers such as Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Creed, Sheryl Crow, Randy Travis, Neil McCoy, Big N Rich, Toby Kieth and Jessica Simpson to, name a few. In 2002 she was chosen to be on the cover of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader calendar.

As Miss Arlington, Sandi went on to compete in the Miss Texas pageant. She also did modeling for The Kim Dawson Agency. Continuing her career in dance, she joined “Pro League Sports Dancers”, which consisted of former NBA and NFL cheerleaders performing hip hop routines at corporate events for Neiman Marcus Cattle Barens Ball, Beauty Counter and Sally Beauty Supplies, etc.

Currently, Sandi is a certified pilates and barre instructor as well as being an NCSF certified personal trainer. Sandi and her husband Drue have made their home in Waxahachie, TX. They have 2 sons and a daughter. Sandi is so excited for the opportunity to share her love and passion for dance with all of her students.
