Kristi North

Mrs. Kristi has been dancing since she was five years old, and started competing when she was seven. She has won numerous National Dance Competitions in tap, jazz, and ballet with her studio in the Austin, TX area, and added kickline and production to her repertoire in Minnesota. While there, she also won awards with her jazz solo in a Las Vegas international completion as well as numerous national competitions.

In addition to dance, Kristi competed in gymnastics and cheerleading until she had to choose an area in which to focus her time; she chose to continue in dance.

In college, Kristi choreographed dances for her dance team in hip hop and lyrical. She and her team traveled to India to dance on stage as well as to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Burma to perform as well as to teach dance.

She is a highly qualified Texas public school teacher for EC-4th grades. She has taught 3-to-6 year olds in the public school setting for the past 11 years, earning “Teacher of the Year” her first year qualifying.

Kristi and her husband, James, have been married for 15 years, and adopted their 3 children out of foster care. Kristi loves teaching children to help them grow and develop into their best selves in all areas that she teaches whether it’s academics, dance, at church, or life skills. She can’t wait to help your child grow in dance skills and love of music!
