Catherine Rahimian

Catherine began her dance training at the age of 6 in classical ballet at the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet, under direction of Ann Etgen and Bill Atkinson. After their retirement, she continued her training at The Dallas Ballet Center, with Judy and Brent Klopfenstein before transitioning to Mejia Ballet International, to receive preprofessional training under Maria Balogh and Paul Mejia until their close. Catherine continued training locally from Tammy’s Dance Center and Avant Garde Theater of Dance, concluding her studies with Sandi’s School of Dance. Catherine has had the privilege of performing numerous featured roles such as, Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ, The Ballerina Doll, Dew Drop Fairy, and Sugar Plum Fairy in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. She is trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, and jazz. Catherine has a passion for dance and hopes to pass on her knowledge of dance to others!
